The practice

The slower and simpler the practice, the quieter the mind becomes. In a busy world, simplicity is deeply supportive. Less is often more. These classes are designed to help the body settle and the mind soften through steady, uncomplicated practice.

We work with movement, breath, and stillness to support balance, clarity, and ease over time. This is classical Hatha yoga in essence: movement to release tension, followed by stillness to support awareness and rest.

Approach

My teaching is influenced by traditional yoga wisdom and a natural, seasonal approach to wellbeing. Rather than following rigid systems, the emphasis is on what is practical, felt, and supportive in real life. Yoga is not something to understand intellectually, but something to experience directly—moment by moment. Simplicity and clarity are always at the centre.

Progression

The practices are gently progressive and develop over time. Consistency supports the body and nervous system to respond more deeply. There are no classes on bank holidays.

ONE - TO - ONE SESSIONS

  • PRIVATE YOGA

You may feel drawn to work one-to-one.

These sessions offer a more personal and responsive way to explore your practice, at a pace that suits you.

We work in partnership—drawing on your experience, reflections, and feedback, alongside my guidance and support. Sessions can include movement, breath, rest, and conversation, depending on what feels most helpful.

Where appropriate, I may also offer gentle guidance around lifestyle or daily habits to support your overall wellbeing.

The process is not fixed. It evolves over time, adapting as your needs, understanding, and experience develop.

Private sessions can be especially helpful if you are new to yoga and would like to build confidence, if you’d prefer a more individual approach, or if you simply want to explore whether this way of working feels right for you.

Sessions are shaped around you, and your interests.

    Private YOGA therapy

    Private Yoga Therapy

At times, it may feel more appropriate to work together privately.

Yoga therapy is simply the application of yoga practices with a clear, supportive intention—to help recovery after injury or surgery, to support ongoing health concerns, or to gently restore balance when you’re feeling depleted, physically or emotionally.

The practices themselves remain simple and familiar. What changes is the focus.

Each session is adapted to your individual needs, working at a pace that feels steady and manageable. There is no pressure—only a gradual, supportive approach to healing and recovery.

Yoga has long been valued for its ability to support both physical and mental wellbeing. In this context, it becomes a practical and accessible way to care for the body, calm the mind, and create space for restoration.

Step away from the noise

Yoga is a practice of awareness—through movement, breath, and stillness.

Over time, it supports a quieter mind, a more settled body, and a deeper connection with yourself.

Alongside this, a broader understanding of balance in daily life can gently support your overall wellbeing.
